Otto Muller

Otto Muller is a composer, collaborative artist, and educator, whose work deals with false memories, empty husks, and semiotic debris.otto1

His chamber music, which has been performed across North America, Europe and Israel by ensembles including the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), the Formosa String Quartet, Duo Stump-Linshalm, Third Coast Percussion Quartet and the New York New Music Ensemble, is informed by ongoing collaborative projects in physical theater, film, puppetry, and dance.  Muller received his PhD in Music Composition as a Presidential Fellow at the University at Buffalo, and has studied at Northwestern University, L’Accademia Musicale Chigiana, and Tzlil Meducan in Tel Aviv.  He currently teaches music, aesthetics, and interdisciplinary art at Goddard College.
